Electrician, Full Time, up to £44,500 DOE + OT rates

Benefits:

• Competitive salary: £42,500 – £44,500 DOE
• Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (40 hours/week)

  • 1.5x after 4:30pm and Saturdays
  • 2x on Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across commercial properties
• Ensure all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational
• Perform fault finding and reactive repairs to minimise downtime
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests
• Conduct testing and inspection (2391) in line with regulations
• Assist with electrical installations, upgrades, and commissioning
• Maintain professional client communication during site visits
• Complete all required documentation, including:
  • Job reports
  • Test certificates
  • Timesheets
  • Materials usage records

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• 2391 Testing and Inspection certification (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (advantageous)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in facilities management or mobile engineering environments (preferred)

Desirable Skills (Solar & EV):

• Experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems
• Knowledge of inverter systems, DC string testing, and solar fault diagnosis
• Experience with commercial EV charging installations
• Understanding of load management and OZEV/OLEV guidelines
• Familiarity with EV commissioning processes
