Electrician, Full Time, up to £44,500 DOE + OT rates
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £42,500 – £44,500 DOE
- Full-time hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (40 hours/week)
- Overtime rates:
- 1.5x after 4:30pm and Saturdays
- 2x on Sundays

Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across commercial properties
- Ensure all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational
- Perform fault finding and reactive repairs to minimise downtime
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests
- Conduct testing and inspection (2391) in line with regulations
- Assist with electrical installations, upgrades, and commissioning
- Maintain professional client communication during site visits
- Complete all required documentation, including:
- Job reports
- Test certificates
- Timesheets
- Materials usage records
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 2391 Testing and Inspection certification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in facilities management or mobile engineering environments (preferred)
Desirable Skills (Solar & EV):
- Experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems
- Knowledge of inverter systems, DC string testing, and solar fault diagnosis
- Experience with commercial EV charging installations
- Understanding of load management and OZEV/OLEV guidelines
- Familiarity with EV commissioning processes
